MacOS Crash when Opening video plays

We had a report that on MacOS, when openings are enabled, the game crashes when the opening plays. This also locks up the whole computer, requiring a restart of the computer to recover.

Hi guys , i am playing higurashi chapter 8 patch fr on mac OS , and i got a issue on start when i put the opening , it litteraly crash my mac and i cant do anything
I want just to let you know about this issue , so yeah i disable the opening , maybe it is a problem on sound card because thats was a scary sound like a repetitive sound or something like that 😅

They didn't go back to try and see if it would happen again, so not sure if it is repeatable
