I was updating a few projects (Nerd Fonts and VimDevIcons) and noticed a few issues.

  1. VimDevIcons is inactive
  2. Updating a project seems to move it to the last page 馃槩

I will hereon refer to each problem as '1' and '2' in the below sections.

馃悶 Problem

  1. VimDevIcons (project 1411) is incorrectly set as inactive
  2. Nerd Fonts (project 1413) I wanted to update the outdated Summary section. After doing so the project moved from the first page to the last page of Python languages. It seems that the ordering is based on updated date. This would seem to penalize any maintainer who updates their project.. at least in terms of ordering.

馃幆 Goal

  1. Simply just needs to be toggled to active? My understanding is that there is a script that runs each year before the start of the 24PR and it just hasn't run yet this year?
  2. This does effect our project but I can see how it could effect others as well. Or at least anyone who is actively updating their project information.

馃挕 Possible solutions

  1. Just to be activated 馃槃
  2. I think ordering by created date is most fair by default or maybe even better by Contribulator Score

馃搵 Steps to solve the problem

  1. I think is a simple solution. No concerns
  2. If anyone else sees the merit in changing the default ordering maybe that is an easy change or if there is interest I would be willing to work on a PR for the project 馃槃

P.S. I am stealing some ideas from this issue template 馃槢
