Code of Conduct

Introduction

As contributors and maintainers of the 2bttns project, we pledge to foster a welcoming and inclusive community. We value diversity and respect for all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, or any other personal characteristics.

This Code of Conduct sets the expectations for all those who participate in our community, both online and offline. By engaging with the 2bttns project, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive environment.

Expected Behavior

The following behaviors are expected from all community members:

  • Respectful and Inclusive Language: Use inclusive and respectful language when communicating and interacting with others.
  • Kindness and Empathy: Be considerate and understanding towards others' perspectives and experiences.
  • Open-Mindedness: Be open to diverse opinions and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborative Environment: Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for all community members.
  • Appropriate Conduct: Refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination, or any behavior that may harm or make others feel unwelcome.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are considered unacceptable within our community:

  • Harassment: Any form of harassment, including offensive comments, intimidation, or unwelcome advances.
  • Discrimination: Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, or any other personal characteristics.
  • Toxic Behavior: Engaging in toxic behavior, including trolling, insults, or personal attacks.
  • Unwelcome Conduct: Any behavior that makes others feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or unsafe.
  • Violation of Privacy: Sharing personal or confidential information without consent.

Reporting and Enforcement

If you witness or experience any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to the project maintainers at friends@2bttns.com. All reports will be reviewed promptly and kept confidential.

In case of a violation, the project maintainers may take appropriate actions, such as issuing warnings, temporary or permanent bans, or any other measures deemed necessary to maintain a safe and inclusive community.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all community spaces associated with the 2bttns project, including but not limited to GitHub repositories, issue trackers, community forums, and any events or meetups organized by the project.
