There is this repository: https://github.com/dockur/windows
that allows to install winodws into a docker (or podaman if we allow tun and privilege) container.
It would be nice to control it throughout distrobox. (it should be some special flag since it dependes on docker-compose, and a remainder to open the local port on the browser)

I'm assuming it would be pretty much impossible to share your home directory with a windows container, one of the main selling points of distrobox. Why not just run it using podman directly?
Since there is a kvm backend, sharing some folders is possible, but it is not one-to-one as with other Linux distros. I made this suggestion because distrobox simplifies how to handle the containers and, for me, it makes sense to have only one frontend for all of them.
