Difference between preview and final image with SDXL

I'm trying to use a SDXL checkpoint, but the result is strange while the preview was as expected

It seems like it took only the first step to create the final image. It's the same for evey SDXL checkpoint, this is an example with bluePencilXL, but do the same with animaPencilXL and ponyDiffusionV6XL

Does anyone would have an idea how to solve it ?

I'm one v1.9.3, and any SD 1.5 checkpoint create perfect final images

Thanks, one of the XL checkpoint should have it's own vae selected, but I don't know why it didn't select it and choosed the default one...
