On Windows just closing the CMD or Windows Terminal window and the browser tab/window closes it and should be more than enough. Due to Windows memory management jank, restarting the graphics driver with WIN + CTRL + Shift + B should clear anything cached in VRAM, and clearing standby memory with RAMMap or Intelligent Standby List Cleaner should fully clear any models indexed or cached there. |

stable-diffusion-webui/webui.py Lines 124 to 140 in 1c0a0c4 but killing the server using other means is also valid
if you pass the cmd arg stable-diffusion-webui/modules/api/api.py Lines 248 to 251 in 1c0a0c4 |

I've been simply pressing Ctrl+C on the terminal window where I ran webui.sh to close the server, but sometimes my PC starts to experience random slowdowns until I restart if I do this after a failed image generation. So I'm wondering if there's a cleaner way to exit the process.
I'm on EndeavourOS but I haven't found this information for any OS, so for the sake of future searchers, please reply with the proper way to do this on Windows or Mac OS as well if you can.
