Regardless of whether I am using an inpainting model or a non-inpainting model, I cannot generate the specified modified content and extended exterior scenery. The outpainting option will only fill the expanded selection with white, and will change the content within the mask I added. I cannot Any idea if it's a problem with my settings or something went wrong? Who can tell me? ?

I am having the same problem, even the controlnet model is not selected automatically if I use the preset "ctrlnet_outpaint"

change your mask content to latent noise or you can simply use outpaint preset

I'm haivng the same problem, filland original just seem to send a white image to A1111 (in both inpaint and outpaint). Latent noise does not work either as it just generates a completely unrelated image from scratch rather than applying to noise to an image in the selected area? It's as though the selected image is not being sent to A1111?

Ok if I put the image on the background layer, it seemed to work, but it threw two photoshop erros saying "command Show is not available".
I tried it a second time and then PS crashed! (No errors showing in A111 console)

did you press the checkmark button after you generate an image? You need to click the checkmark button (if you like the image generated) then you can proceed with inpaint/outpaint, if not the stable diffusion will have no clue what you're inpainting or outpainting
