I have installed displaylink-debian and as far as I can tell, followed all the instructions. ./displaylink-debian --debug seems to show correct output (see below), but I cannot detect any monitors that are plugged in with the display settings or arandr. I have no idea what I may be doing wrong.
Note that when I added "MatchDriver evdi" in my 20-displaylink.conf file, X refuses to start.
I'm using a Targus docking port right now. When I plug the HDMI cable directly into the HDMI port, it detects immediately.
Any help would be appreciated.
