README content missing from generated typedoc

we are not alone:

• The readmeFile param monorepo config is not considered when the .md file is generated typedoc2md/typedoc-plugin-markdown#383

This had been fixed, but only in the next version. (typedoc-plugin-markdown@next).

using typedoc-plugin-markdown@next, I get README files, with no extension. :-/

If I rename to README.md, vitepress consumes them as expected. hm.
