Package incompatible with current React Native version

When I try install the react-native-android-tablayout package, the current error message appears:

react-native-android-tablayout@0.3.0 requires a peer of react-native@0.28 but none was installed.

I had the same problem, you might not be able to get the latest version from npm. You need to pull it from github using the commit hash.
