Steps to reproduce

  1. Background AntennaPod by opening other apps
  2. Switch back to AntennaPod

Expected behaviour

AntennaPod loads in a few seconds and responds quickly to user input

Current behaviour

UI takes > 20 seconds to load, is laggy for awhile afterwards.

This started happening after most recent update from Google Play store. Rebooted the phone but problem still exists.
