As in #32 described logic should be implemented in the front end.

Showing a seat map that shows where the entrance, podium, crew area and where the seats are.
With the following visuals:

Green seat for available status
Grey for reserved status
Red for taken
Maybe add each icon as well for colour-blind people.

For the red seats, when you press it you should see the game name of the owner. For the green one, there should be a button "take seat".
