What

When someone tries to gift a subscription to a site, the default .wordpress.com subdomain shows up on checkout and not the primary custom URL. A user reached out about this and it makes sense to automatically use the primary site URL on checkout for subscription gifting.

User's feedback here - #8166272-zen

Why

This may create confusion among users if they are gifting the subscription to the correct site or not. The primary site address match in the checkout will help resolve this confusion.

How

Here is a screen record of how it looks like when trying to gift a subscription to a site. The primary site URL is hindilekhak.com but the checkout shows dhyankakshadotin.wordpress.com.

If we could add a feature to automatically use the primary site URL on checkout, that'd be great.
