I am hosting with InMotion Hosting. I have an existing database I want to use, I have added 34.246.43.190 (is this correct?) as the remote IP to allow access, but I get an error when trying to connect:
Error creating datasource: Unable to connect: Host 'ec2-18-203-209-221.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com' is not allowed to connect to this MariaDB server.
Is this a limitation of the free tier hosted solution?
It is a VPS server with a dedicated IP and I am able to connect remotely using Sequel Pro.
