Describe the feature request

Inspired by #1146. It might make more intuitive sense for some users to use natural sorting as opposed to the default lexicographic sorting.

Note to self: implementation of natural sorting isn't too bad, I think?

Also not sure if this should be a global setting or per-widget type. Can go with former for now for initial implementation I guess.

Maybe just replace "core 1" with "core 01" can provide a workaround?
