📝 Description

VJTI-ki-RASOI will help our college students by our delicious,clean and pocket friendly mess. All this is done with the help of a user-friendly, easy and robust software system.. The website focuses on Automated mess format so that students can have 24/7 access to various functions such as leave. Entire mess management and calculations are done manually till date, it is Time Consuming and requires hardwork and manpower.We have made this website to make the offline mess work convinient and to reduce the manwork

📈 Progress

Fully implemented features in our project

  • Fully Implemented Feature 1 : Implementation of users leave .. user(member of mess) can put a leave when he/she doesn't want to have a meal.This feature then send the list of users who put leave on a particular day(along with their card no, date and total leaves) to the admin.

  • Fully Implemented Feature 2 : Implementation of reviews. User can submit their feedback to us and that will be seen by every user(whether a member, guest or )

  • Fully Implemented Feature 3 -login, register and signup done completely

  • Fully Implemented Feature 4 -Only the admin can see leavelist of members and new members list because of security purpose

  • Fully Implemented Feature 5 - After logging in successfully we can see our profile(includes name, email address and card no)

  • Fully Implemented Feature 6 - Meals of 7 days are displayed which have different menus (It includes all breakfast, lunch and dinner)

  • Fully Implemented Feature 7 -On footer we have added aboutus, terms and conditions,blogs.

🔮 Future Scope

  • We can add online payment option.
  • We can add more email security so that only domain specific emails are allowed to log in and register.
  • Menus can be added as per customers convenience by using poll system.
  • We can add a email notification section for putting a leave or changing password ,etc .

🛠️ Project Setup

  1. Clone the repository

  1. Install Node.js (JavaScript runtime environment) and MongoDB(document-oriented database program)

  2. Install the dependencies using

npm i

🏃‍♀️ Usage

After setting up for Web App, follow the below instructions to get it running.

For Web

  1. Enter mongod and mongo command to connect to the database.

  2. Go to gitbash/command prompt, make sure you are in VJTI-ki-RASOI directory, run following command in gitbash

nodemon app.js
  1. Open (localhost:3000/) in your browser to use VJTI-ki-RASOI . )

Admin Login & Password: Username: admin Email:admin@gmail.com Password: admin

Applications:

1)Entire mess management and calculations are done manually till date it is Time Consuming and requires hardwork and manpower.We have made this website to make the offline mess work convinient and to reduce the manwork. 2)Through our website it becomes convinient for a mess member to mark his leave without actually visiting the mess physically and saves lot of time and food wastage.
