After an unanimous vote of "Yes, upgrade", the poll has been locked. We will start putting effort into updating the library to use net6.0, then net8.0 whenever it releases. Thank you everyone for submitting your opinion. |

As time goes on, a new .NET version is released. As time went on, we have not updated in a long time. We've restricted ourselves to
netstandard2.0
in the name of compatibility, hindering ourselves with the lack of the latest features. Sincenetstandard2.0
is no longer getting any new releases, we believe it's time to upgrade to the latest .NET Core LTS version. As of the time of writing, that would benet6.0
.Through the power of procrastination, we've given everyone here enough time to upgrade their projects to the latest .NET Core versions. Now we believe it's time for us to do the same.
