Does this have a place in our guidelines, which should try to be vendor neutral? Are we going to have other sections which explain which settings to use for Harmonic, Anevia, AWS Elemental etc? I think these settings should instead be in the ffmpeg documentation somewhere.

I believe we should have a something constructive here. I agree that it may be done as part of the FFMPEG documentation, as long as it is done.

We complete the table, but will put it outside the doc and only reference a page.
Do the documentation after discussion with FFLabs. People supporting this documentation: Will, Nicolas, Thomas.
