dash.js reference streams - Stream addition/removal thread

The dash.js reference client holds a list of reference vectors http://reference.dashif.org/dash.js/nightly/samples/dash-if-reference-player/app/sources.json . These vectors are used for testing features in dash.js as well as running functional tests.

If you think streams should be added or removed from this list please contribute to this discussion.

We need the following information

• URL to the MPD
• If protected the relevant DRM information (server, request headers)
• A description of the stream.
• Company providing the stream
• Acronym for the company as to be shown in the reference client stream selection dropdown
• Website of company

We in Axinom have created an updated set of multi-DRM test streams in addition to existing Axinom test vectors.
In total there are 12 new test streams which we would like to add to reference player streams list.
New set of streams contains DASH, CMAF with H264 and H265 codecs.
All streams come in 3 variants: single-key, multi-key and non-protected.
We would like to proceed by creating a pull request with new set of streams added to reference streams list.

Thanks, that sounds good. As suggested, please open a pull request for this. Please also remove outdates streams as part of this pull request (in case there are any)

I have updated the sources.json file locally with new test sreams from Axinom but i'm unable to push them:

Thats correct you can not directly make changes to dash.js. Please create a pull request from your fork of dash.js. We will review it and merge it afterwards. As an example: #3797
