I think the no-NB.* files have been incorrectly named. "nb" is the language and "NO", in this case, is the country, so they should be nb-NO.*.

Norwegian has to variants of its main written language, "bokmål" (NB), and "nynorsk" (NN). The two variants can, to a great extent, be read by every Norwegian. In addition to that Sami is also a official language, this language is spoken by appr. 1% og the population. Sometimes there is only one software language setting for Norwegians, in such cases "no" and "nor" means "bokmål".

I suspect the no-NO.* files are really nynorsk and should be nn-NO.*

Or ideally the no-NO.* files should just be the basic language variant, ie nn.* , and the no-NB.* files just nb.* (see Issue #576).
