Hey David,

I have been using your stencil for a while now and am really happy with the quality. Quick question though: is there an easy way to change the font of the whole stencil, like one style that is the base for all other styles associated with it? I could not find it myself and the stencil overrides the default font of my drawings. If you'd rather discuss this over some form of IM/DM you can close this issue but if you have an easy solution, others might stumble upon it here as well.

Thanks for your time and work on these stencils!

Extra details: I am trying to edit the "Default Svg Style" for this purpose, but Visio keeps restoring it to "Calibri 8pt". I have edited the Theme of the drawing but that only manages to update the font face, not the size. All other styles in the drawing and the stencil allow themselves to be updated however.

Hi @ppluijten thank you for the feedback. I can pretty much do anything with this stencil now as I have figured out all of the quirks with the Visio COM PowerShell method. One thing I can do and I provided this in a very early version was to set theme inheritance on the Icons so you could use themes on them without changing the actual Icon colours. I unfortunately removed that version as I was heading down a slippery path of maintaining multiple styled versions of the icon set and I just could not keep up with that level of maintenance in my spare time.

I will have a think about your particular request and it may be solved with a post download personaliser script that you can use (which I would need to build). Or alternatively I could create a custom repo for you (and others since I added sponsorship to this repo today, maybe with enough support I could invest more time in creating personalised or customised stencils)

Hi David. I can see why that would be too much to maintain for the little functionality it provides, seeing as how the themes would interfere with other styling options if left alone.

A post download script to set some properties (like font family/size/colour) would really help, depending on how much maintenance that would require from your end of course. A repository for customised stencils would also provide a solution, but I think it would depend on the manner of changes required to "customise". Preferably you would like be able to have the customisations as a separate (config) file or add-on to the base stencil, so changes to the base stencil will not have to be merged in the custom repo.

Let me know if and when you have the time to start working on this 😄

Hi @ppluijten I am still considering all of this. Just letting you know :D
