Controller freaking out and spamming all buttons

Describe the bug
I got this to get my Switch Pro Controller working for GTAV through the Rockstar Launcher (which didn't work anyway but that's not why i'm here) and so I gave up and went to play Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 with my friend on Steam. And after which my controller started freaking out on the main menu and I have no idea what to do. I've tried uninstalling the drivers altogether to no avail, I tried the solution listed here "https://github.com/Davidobot/BetterJoy/wiki/HIDGuardian-and-Steam-(Big-Picture)" and i've tested my controller on the switch and the issue only persists on my pc.

Expected behavior
I just want my controller to work again and i'm out of ideas and desperate for help.

This has been happening with my N64 NSO controller(s) as well, trying to play Ship of Harkinian and Modloader64.
