Consider if code could be presented in a cross referenced HTML à la lxr or GNU global.

That sure would be great!

I think https://www.kythe.io/ might be a good piece of software to consider for doing cross-referencing (but I’ve only ever consumed its output, not set it up).

With my current workload/spare time, I’ll likely need to rely on external contributions to ever get this done, though.
