Error during installation on Firefox 121.0.1, Win 10 22H2

After the last Firefox update I occasionally started to see errors saying that there is something wrong with STG database. Within the error message there was an instruction

• to remove STD from plugins,
• restart Firefox,
• install STG and
• restore tab groups.

But when I try to install STG addon I get an error
"An unexpected error occurred during installation."

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Update Firefox on Win 10 Home
2. Open https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/simple-tab-groups/ and click on Click on 'Add to Firefox'
3. See error

Desktop:

• OS and version: Windows 10 Home 19045.3930
• Firefox version: 121.0.1 (64-bit)
• Simple Tab Groups version: 5.2

I ran into the same issue on OSX as well and with Firefox 122. I have setup STG to take daily backups and I cannot see a backup for the last 2 days (last one is from January 23rd and Firefox version 121.0.1).
