Why

Probably to be able to show information in the conference app for DroidKaigi 2021 on October 19 in this app, we need to put milestones. Without milestones, there will be no progress.

What features do we need in the conference app for DroidKaigi 2021?

Basically, since this year's conference is online, it can be viewed on the web, so we don't need a map or other features. I am assuming it will be simple.
Basically, you don't create a new app, but add functionality to the apps in this repository. This policy has not changed since the following issue.

In summary, it looks like this

• The user of the application should be able to access the list of sessions with a button or menu.
• The app user should be able to see the list of sessions.
• The app user should be able to see the session details (Basically, this implementation can be done on the web.)

The milestone

8/29

• Ask what elements can be displayed as elements of a session. Decide on details such as whether there are parallel sessions to be presented, what day they are, if there is more than one presenter, etc. Share the list of elements with designers. ( by @takahirom )

9/5 (or 9/12)

• Data will be available via API (Sessionize API?)
• Design is completed September 5 (by @nontan @nobonobopurin )
  Please let me discuss the schedule🙏 (Is this schedule too demanding?? 👀 )
• Develop the app.

• Release conference app on Google Play
  We've been trying to release the iOS app on the App Store for about two years, but the rules are pretty strict and we haven't been able to get it out yet, so we'll probably use other methods like TestFlight.

• Release improved version

10/19 - 10/21

• DroidKaigi Conference🎉

オレンジを使う上で必要な情報は特にありません。

思ったことがありましたのでご相談させてください！

Androidsアプリのデザインについて、iOSアプリのデザインをベースにするのがよいのではないか、
と思ったのですがいかがでしょうか。

今まで、このアプリはイベントとは別に今後も使っていく予定のアプリと考えていました。
そのため、DroidKaigi2021イベントとのデザイン整合性はなくても問題はないと考えていました。

しかしながら、

• このアプリはおそらくDroidKaigi2021に参加される方がインストールする
• iOSアプリ、Androidアプリ、サイトのデザインが一致しているほうが、Droidkaigi2021のイベントに統一感が出る
• iOSアプリのデザインはDroidKaigi2021のサイトデザインとなじんでおり、情報も見やすい
• iOSアプリとAndroidアプリでタイムテーブルなどの情報の出し方が一致しているほうがよい

と思いました。

ただ、開発状況的に可能かわからないのと、
今までの開発で無駄になってしまう部分があったら申し訳ないので、
変なご提案だったらごめんなさい。

I have been thinking of this app as an app that I plan to use in the future, apart from events.
Therefore, we thought that there would be no problem even if the design was not consistent with the DroidKaigi2021 event.

• This app will probably be installed by people attending DroidKaigi2021.
• The more consistent the design of the iOS app, Android app, and website, the more consistent the DroidKaigi2021 event will be.
• The design of the iOS app blends well with the DroidKaigi2021 website design, and the information is easy to read.
• The iOS app and Android app should have the same timetable and other information.
• It is desirable to have the same timetable and other information for the iOS app and Android app.

I thought above.

However, I don't know if this is possible in terms of development status.
I'm sorry if this is a strange suggestion.

確かに同じデザインのほうが理想的にはいいと思います。ただ、ちょっと多分iOSの形にAndroidのアプリを持っていくための時間を作るのが難しいと考えています。
私は作っていただいたAndroidのデザインを実現していくのを今は考えています。

There are some changes in specifications. Session levels are unlikely to be available this year, so you won't be able to see anything like beginners. 🙇
