Hey I hate to bug you and I know its your addon and all but I really wanted to give a suggestion that I think would be beneficial to the kodi addon.

My idea and the website site basically does this already but it would be great instead of separating dubs/subs if it was just under the same category/poster and when it loads the sources it asks you which language do you prefer. Then when you choose the language it remembers the choice you made so future episodes will be in the preferred language.

Right now for example, if you create a widget on kodi it will load the same poster 2 times because it creates 1 for dub and 1 for sub so you have duplicates. also if you simply just click the show you want it also provides double links for sub/dub.

Its just a QOL thing and I think it would be great on kodi because some shows I watch in dub and some i watch in sub so would be nice to not have to pick and choose all the time and when I make a choice on the specific show it just knows.

Then on your favourites lists and and other categories you don't need 2 of everything and its more stream lined that way.

Just a suggestion, don't even know if its possible but I thought it would be really cool.

@SwagOtaku created a setting entry to filter only one type, is that solve your need? :)

This sort've fixes the issue but not entirely....so someone like me who watches both sub and dub this filter option doesn't help all that much. Some animes I will watch the sub if a dub is not available, I feel like everything should just be listed once and when you click the title you want then the next screen asks if you want sub or dub then you go into the listing you want.

Maybe have it do what I mentioned but if you are someone who only watches one or the other and apply the filter then it bypasses the 2nd screen and just goes right to the list for you since it knows which one you want?

That kinda seem weird, since that would need multiple calls initially when you open up an anime for the first time. Then when you open it up the same anime a second time, it would have to check if there's a sub or dub preference for that specific anime and then open up anime seasons.
All that seems unnecessary, if you just have to click the (Dub) or (Sub) option right now

I wouldn't mind if the addon had both popular (dub) and popular (sub) options on the main menu since I used to use both from time to time, but I'm happy that you did add the option in settings to pick a preference!

Project discontinued, @Goldenfreddy0703 created an add-on called Otaku, is a fork of the original Kaito addon made by SwagOtaku.
