Everything seems to sync properly for watched episodes at least for Kitsu it does but it doesn't mark the episode properly on Kodi. If you log into Kitsu you see the episode was watched but the add-on on Kodi doesn't show it as watched.

Anyway to have it so all watched episodes that are saved on your kitsu account can show up with a checkmark beside the episodes both past stuff and stuff you just watched.

simple terms whatever shows on kitsu as watched should show a checkmark on kodi next to the episode.

Problem is that the checkmark is only for the local database of the device.

You could write a function which syncs the local database with Kitsu/mal alright.
But this doesn't change the fact that you don't know, if Kitsu was updated successfully after looking an episode, because the checkmark will always come after finishing an episode because of local database...

The idea to sync Kitsu/MAL with local database itself is good.
It just just doesn't help to show if updating the online-list was done right.

To do so you have to reload the addons and go to the anime to look, if the counter have changed.
That is what i do today.

I simply trust it did update it to kitsu because it’s set to do that automatically once it hits 80% or more. I personally don’t need a drop down notification to tell me what it’s already doing automatically.

I could live with a setting that lets you turn the notification option on or off though so people can choose if they want to see that drop down banner.

Any update on this? its still the one thing that is unfortunate not to have when using multiple devices. Someway to call to the API and so then it stores the "watched" and shows a checkmark next to the episodes that your Kitsu/MAL says has been watched. @SwagOtaku
