Is this a unique feature?

  • I have checked "open" AND "closed" issues and this is not a duplicate

Is your feature request related to a problem/unavailable functionality? Please describe.

Might be related to #22

Develop a Chrome extension which will enhance the Github Starring experience.
When you set a start on the GitHub website, it will suggest you also rate 1-5 stars for RepoRater.
As for me, that sounds like the right place for true rating, when you're happy about some open source.

Proposed Solution

  1. Create a very thin Chrome extension
  2. It will inject extra login into the "staring" process of Github
  3. When a star is set, it suggests adding 1-5 stars to RepoRater using API.
  4. Not sure about Auth process here for the extension.

I do love this idea 👍 When visiting any GitHub repo (any page) the chrome icon could come alive so people can rate that repo - I think they will already be logged in to GitHub, not sure if we can use that token

Go for it Andrew, but I think it would be in its own repo. Do you want to start the repo under your GitHub account, then we can reference it in the README and/or move it into the EddieHub Org with you as an admin on it and project lead?

@xkrishguptaa we could do the same for your Discord bot if you like?

Sounds good, let's have a separate repo! Let's go with EddieHub org!
