Window TitleDESCRIPTION: This will display the current window's title in your bar. If the window's title is greater than 50 characters it will truncate it, if there it no title available it will fall back to the application name. This was written by @FelixKratz and Modified by me. Ik that this is rlly old, but I rlly need help. One thing I would like to fix for my config is things like google tabs...when I switch from another app to google, the title switches accordingly. But when I switch from one google tab to another, the title does not change. Does anyone know how I can go about fixing this? |

Depending on what ICON font family he was using, you should replace it with one you have access to and make sure you update the icon font IE if you are using fontawesome pick an icon, copy it in place of the [] that shows in the file and update the icon font a la: Essentially just make sure you have access to whatever icon you choose to use |

@gverbist It's a nerd font icon. If you have an icon font set in sketchybar to a nerd font then it should work. |

Hi, thank you for this great plugin. It works well until I quit the Music app. Then, when I restart the app, the plugin doesn't show up until I reset SketchyBar. Any ideas what might be causing this issue? I'm on Sonoma 14.1. |

Modified those slightly to counter the annoying behaviour on my michine where teams and other virtual meeting apps are constantly fiddling with input volume, even if i ask them not to. Changes from the original summed up to:

Interesting. I'm running yabai v3.3.10 and As far as the malformed UTF-8 string goes, does only the I've also made a minor update to my yabai_spaces.sh file. It cleans it up a little bit and also fixes a bug where the space would not have a number if it exceeded 15 (the number of static names included). With this update, if more than 15 spaces are found, space 16 and forward will use Arabic numerals to represent the space. That's awesome! I agree, it shouldn't update every second. I also thought about getting some way to detect if the 8th line is needed, if not, it won't render an empty line (December shows the 31st at the 8th line of cal command, and I knew that in January it would mess up graphically. Not sure how I'll figure that out yet.. I'll test your modifications on my machine when I get home. Cool! |

Desktop Items (date and time)It's actually possible to place items on desktop, similar to widgets, with a minor modification to sketchybar. Here's an example showing the date and time:
The only modification to sketchybar necessary is to lower the non-topmost windows. Here is the commit: erics118@120f90d I've made a quick repo that uses a separate instance of sketchybar, sketchydate, so that it can be used independent of the actual bar. This isn't necessary though. |

tmux session path and git branch using tmux hooksMy workflow relies on tmux, and switching between various sessions (one for each project). I use my own little sessionizer script that offers sessions based on git directories within I had a tmux status bar that told me the current project, git branch, jira tickets asigned to me, and Github reviews assigned to me. I now replaced it with sketchybar. Screen.Recording.2024-01-08.at.10.24.46.movThe plugin is purely event based thanks to tmux hooks. Again: This setup relies on tmux sessions having a session path associated with them. Hi! I'm getting a short blink of the wifi on symbol, but then it disappears. All other states besides wifi connected work perfectly though, thanks! Does anyone have a clue what could be the issue here? |

Hi! Did you try debugging it to see which values you are getting for My first hunch is it's an even more problematic race condition and sleeping for just 1 second might not be enough, depending on your machine etc. So maybe try increasing that and see if it helps in any way. |
