While that will allow auto-updates, it's a bit of a waste on Windows. It could also introduce issues for those using Jackett on Windows (yes, they could use Docker for it as well, but that's a lot of steps and potentially a steep learning curve just to get auto-update working).

It's a nice feature but don't expect it any time soon. For now you can subscribe to new releases in GitHub.
