Catch an error - icon not found

Describe the bug
Error if someone gives the wrong icon name.

Expected behavior
Is it possible to catch an error if someone gives the wrong icon name?
Now in this case the whole application fail and returns an error. Is it possible to display the default icon in the event of an error or or catch the error?

Additional context
In my application the icon is set in the backend by an administrator in a different environment,
so it may happen that someone chooses an icon which is not in this library.
