The page is perhaps a bit more technical than many of our users, and could benefit from a rewrite. We should also include some specific information around a potential cause of a connection lost error, based on this SB issue: https://github.com/orgs/GitbookIO/discussions/1009#discussioncomment-4157298

Aiko wrote some text that may help here:

"Connection Lost" message in published docs
Some customers may experience issues loading the pages in their published docs.
Chrome extensions such as CORS plugin can prevent the GitBook to work properly and lead to a "Connection lost" error.
Disabling this this//all browser add-ons can help to resolve this issue.
