Hey Mr. Hendrix,

THANK YOU so much for your continuing work to update the Pyaudiorestoration suite...I tried a few months ago to install and came close, but still couldn't get it to launch...I really want to get this working...

Do I need to un-install any previous components before trying your new updated code?

Or should I just re-install over what is there now? I have Python 3.8.5 installed on Win10.

Thanks for your help and for your work on these great set of tools!

Regards,
Mike

Mr. Hendrix,

I finally had success loading the "pip install -r requirements.txt " and all the dependencies downloaded (for the 1st time) ...it also asked to update "pip" and I did so successfully. I also made sure the "freetype-py: was in the folder as well.

When I double click "pyrespeeder_gui" (or any other process)...the python console pops up for about 5 seconds , then disappears......nothing else happens.

I know I am so close to getting this to work...I have read everything on your pages...would you have any advice for me?

Thank you for your valuable time and help....

Regards,

Mike

Sounds like you may have several python versions installed. Hard to tell.
Try running it from the cmd instead of by double clicking.
cmd in pyaudiorestoration folder: python pyrespeeder_gui.py
