Manifesto

Hey! My name is Manasi, I am currently a second year computer science student! :D

I am known as the finance girlie in CompSci.✨

Within HackSoc, we get a lot of sponsors and we need someone to handle the money and split it to be able to have enough money for everything to run smoothly; this would be my role.

I am currently a Futuremaker entrepreneur at Standard Chartered where I have been able to grow my business and my network to be able to get to the position I am in! I currently run my own start-up in which I have had to do multiple pitches and raise a lot of money to be able to get my business off the ground! For my business, I have to discuss contracts and accounting to sponsoring companies to discuss what I would do with my funding. 📈

Along with maintaining sponsors for my start-up, I am also the head of business and marketing for Formula Student: AI in which I have been in charge of the social media management and securing sponsors to race our Car in the Formula Student Race. We have had to manage and raise sponsor money to be able to race the car. 🏎️

In regards to handling the money coming into HackSoc and seeing where we can use it, I am currently an investment fund manager at the University where I manage a large portfolio of funds to be able to grow and make us profit (so far I am the best performing fund at the University!) 🪙
