Problem description

The actual stable version of Heroic Game Launcher on snap is at 2.12.0 (released the 7th of January) and the Edge version is at 2.13.0 (release 12th of February). Is it still maintained?

Feature description

Keep Heroic Games Launcher on snap up to date

We actually want to retire the snap package. It's broken (snaps don't work fine at least for the things we need)

Is there a way that I could help in that case? I have experience with Flatpak packaging so I can try to replicate and fix the issues with the snap version if necessary. Is that a possibility and if yes what would be the best approach (pull-request or other)?

best would be pull requests, but the problem is that flatpak packaging experience doesn't translate to snap packaging (we have been able to solve all flatpak issues over time).

I recommend reading these pull requests to see all the discussions and conversations that happened around the snap setup https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/pulls?q=is%3Apr+snap+is%3Aclosed

after a bunch of attempts, there's always a new problem, and we decided that it's not worth it with the limited time we have to support that packaging method (When .deb, flatpak and AppImage are already available and work fine)
