Describe the bug

Riders Republic (BattlEye anticheat) don't work with the default BattlEye anticheat. Epic Games version. The game crash.

Add logs

Nothing to report.

Steps to reproduce

The game works perfectly if I copy the BattlEye anticheat distributed by Steam. Like other players reported on protondb for Lutris or Heroic.

Expected behavior

Heroic could offer to use the installation Steam's BattlEye anticheat, just as it already does with the “Steam runtime”. Thanks.

We rely on Lutris' API to provide us with up-to-date anticheat runtimes. It appears the BattlEye runtime is currently outdated there, nothing we can do here
