😒 Removed Feature

  • The Kraken is dead: finish migrating remaining features to the new Twitch API (this requires login and accepting permissions again - requested permissions are the same, just more fine-grained). Even if we waited until the last minute in hope that the new Twitch API would get at least a feature parity with the old one, this was in vain:
    • Some event-specific emote sets may not be usable (like the HAHAHAlidays one) due to a known Twitch issue for multiple years that can no longer be workaround with the new Twitch API.
    • The homepage now only lists online streams and no longer displays offline follows due to Twitch not providing a new API to fetch all these informations in a reasonable number of requests.

  • Moderator actions (ban, unban, timeout, untimeout & AutoMod related actions) now properly report the author of the action (e.g. Alice was banned by Bob. instead of Alice was banned.).
  • Add new /title command to display the current title of a stream or /title new title for broadcasters and channel editors to update the title.

  • Fix an issue with some emote sets not being usable (like the HAHAHAlidays one) - this requires login and accepting permissions again as we now need to read your current subscriptions.
