I see that Releases page don't have binaries.

If you use Goreleaser, you can provide binaries and not make user compile.

IMO: Binaries in repo will cause unnecessary size growth. But releasing in another repo/server will be great.

Binaries are hosted by Github separately, it doesn't affect GIT repository size.

You don't download binaries when you do git pull / fetch, they are external uploads, managed by Github.
