How can we do a custom renderer for the notebook output ?

Im testing out some api and the payloads are huge, while using the notebook to make quick tests to iterate over, I have noticed that the default renderer use Plain Text, Is posible to write a custom one to make it render JSON instead ?

Is there a built in JSON/code renderer extensions can use or do you mean fully implementing one from scratch?

I aimed for JSON rendered, how can be configured to use that one from the built in instead the default plain text ?
