ArgoCD infra & observability labs

Dependencies

• kubectl
• helm
• kustomize
• argocd
• envsubst (should already be present in your linux system)

Getting Started

Create local cluster with k3s, ingress-nginx and argocd:

make start-k3s

Remove & uninstall k3s:

make delete-k3s

ArgoCD

• http://argo-local.cloud-diplomats.com - login: admin, password: see make start-k3s logs

Apps-of-Apps

This pattern allow to declaratively specify one Argo CD app that consists only of other apps.

Limitations

Wifi router can block some port and leave k3s without stable communication. If you want to make sure there is none, try using your 4G network.
