Current Behavior

When playing music on SpotTube and closing the app, upon reopening, the app fails to remember the last played track or playlist. Consequently, users are required to search for the song or playlist again, which is inconvenient. Additionally, there are instances where the back gesture, intended for navigating to the previous screen, is not functioning as expected during playback.

Expected Behavior

  1. SpotTube should remember the last played track or playlist, allowing users to easily resume playback without needing to search again.
  2. The back gesture should reliably function to navigate to the previous screen, providing seamless user experience.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch SpotTube.
  2. Search and Start playing a track or playlist.
  3. Close the SpotTube app.
  4. After some time (potentially several hours), reopen SpotTube.
  5. SpotTube opens without any play window or any information about last played song.

  1. Try using the back gesture to return to the previous screen while the song is playing.
