Conversation mode will create a new thread within channel

Yes, !g converse mode is not working as I expected. Multiple people run multiple conversation in single room is little bit interesting.

I appreciate if you able to create a new thread for each conversation started by user and everyone joins to the thread will be able to discuss with just like a same chatGPT user in the room.

This is actually incredibly difficult to implement with the current architecture, so it will take some time. But it is definitely something that I wanted to do as well, I will add it to the roadmap

Currently, doing converse will start a new thread for each person that converses, and the conversation context is saved only for the person who started it regardless of whoever else is in the channel

Hi, this will never happen. This would require me to host the bot and pay for the API myself, and/or pay for the expanded hosting to support tons of servers myself, which I am not willing to do. Moreover, as I expand the bot, there will be more database functionality and more moving parts, which would be strenuous to manage myself across tens or hundreds of servers. I would consider this if the OpenAI API is free or if hosting was cheap, but it is not, and people using it would constantly charge me money. My apologies! There are fully fledged instructions on how to set up the bot on the README, and OpenAI will give you $18 in free credits at the start! This project is aimed at individuals with at least a bit of development experience, who can set this up on their own instance, and it also serves as a sample code repository for interfacing with OpenAI!
