I already have a Broadlink RM Pro that I can use to transmit, but I also have an sonoff RF bridge that im wondering if I can flash so I can use it as a receiver for Home Assistant. This way I can still use my RF remotes to interface with my devices, but then HA will still be able to keep track of their state. Thoughts?

Actually I have a custom built RF gateway that I have used daily with HA for well over 2 years now. My plan this year is to get it working on the RF Bridge. The RF bridge stores RF data in an EEPROM and spurts it out on demand via a commend whereas my code creates protocols on the fly. I need to look into it more but yes it is possible.

Out of curiosity, do you have your custom gateway documented anywhere? I do think the sonoff rf bridge for as cheap as it is, could really be a great premade rf wifi enabled receiver with only needing a custom firmware to accomplish the need. Has decent range too (not sure on the receiver actually not that i think of it).
