maven/hello-world doesn't works out of the box

I'm new to kotlin and maven and i'm looking for a hello world.

$ mvn test

After updating kotlin.version property to 1.4.21 it worked for me
Tested with
openjdk version "11.0.2" 2019-01-15
and
openjdk version "15" 2020-09-15
