Using the async Chrome WebDriver AsyncChromeDriver. The performance advantage of this needs to be tested. Also, this is a non-standard WebDriver incompatible with everything else (including other browsers), and maintained by a single developer, as well as used by much fewer people than the synchronous one we use.

The library seems to be unmaintained.
