I updated my sublime to Sublime 4143 and now I get this error, highlighter doesn't work on blade files, shows everything as plain text without any highlighting.

I reinstalled the Laravel Blade Highlighter package and then restart sublime text 4 (4143) then it works.

Blade v2.0.0 extends ST's default HTML syntax as of ST4137.

The error may be caused by an outdated Packages/HTML/HTML.sublime-syntax, overriding ST's default HTML syntax.

To resolve the issue,

  1. Call Main Menu > Preferences > Browse Packages...
  2. Look for a folder named HTML.
  3. Either remove the whole folder or at least any HTML.sublime-syntax and/or HTML (Plain).sublime-syntax from that folder.
