Web interface: idle mouse over controls keeps controls visible. Cursor disappears but not overlay

Because the cursor disappears it seems clear you want the video to be visible. Let's take it all the way and hide the overlay too.

This is especially annoying in my case and not something I can fix with behavior modification. I use synergy to share one mouse across multiple desktops. If there's any connection or service interruption the mouse resets to the middle of the screen. This triggers the overlay to pop up and stay up.
