Download the .ipa file from the asset tab and sideload the app with AltStore

In the releases tab there is only the apk for android devices. And when using the older iOS builds it doesn’t work.

Oh right that's true, In the taiyaki discord server you can get the latest unofficial .ipa version of the app on the installation-instruction under the #info sub channel.
