I have just downloaded the latest version of Monotagari. I am playing the demo and there's no sound (I know there should be some sound because in the multimedia section of the presentation the character says at a certain point "Unless you have your computer muted, you should be hearing music").

Sound is working fine in my computer, and browser is playing sound perfectly from other sources, like youtube for example.
Tried refreshing, did not work.
Checked Monogatari settings, volume is set to max.

Windows 10.
Firefox

Hi there! Thanks a lot for reporting this, just to check, by any chance did you chose Skip at the first choice the game gives you once you've played it once?

It seems music is not being played there because it starts playing on the introduction and then when you skip it, it never gets played (This was of course an oversight on my side)

Hi, well spotted. I just checked and the music is successfully played when the intro is not skipped, and I successfully replicated the error by skipping the intro. So it seems you're right.

Is the full demo supposed to be in the download? At the moment, the demo in my download is a lot simpler than the online one, meaning I don't have any demonstration of the features that aren't documented yet...

@NiallTracey No, the simple demo that you got when you download it is the right one, it's just a simple template for you to create your game, what features that are not documented are you referring to? I may be able to help!
