I have text (copy from mudlet window)
Przechodzi cie zimny dreszcz i dochodzi do ciebie dziwne przeczucie, ze na swiat zostalo wlasnie uwolnione
wielkie zlo.

Mud not made next line. Text lenght is unlimited. Mudlet break line for window size.

I put this text as trigger.. Looking ok.

I save trigger... looking ok
I select diffrent trigger... and return again to first trigger and now i see

this what was displayed correct as space " " mudlet now display without.
Mayby if mudlet detect new line and return char, it will be replace for space.

Mudlet does not actually record what ends each line of text from the Game Server whether it is a:

  • "\r\n"
  • '\n'
  • a "go-ahead" / "end-of-record"
  • more than a time period of up to 0.5 of a second since any data was received (that time is now adjustable between 0.500 down to 0.050 seconds, with a default of 0.300).

As such you cannot include an "end-of-line" as part of the trigger - however there may be ways around this but I will need to summon another team member as I'm not too good on "multi-line" triggers as I think that is what you will need...

This is a known issue, and your suggestion of replacing the newline/cr with a space is a potentially good one.

In the meantime, you may try installing https://github.com/demonnic/copyWithoutNewlines and using the new right-click option it provides to remove the newlines from your copy.
